About the Notification black filled icon

A classic bell hangs from a small loop, its body flaring into a wide rim with a rounded clapper showing underneath. Nothing is attached to it, so the same shape serves read and unread states alike. Use it for push notification buttons, app headers, alert centers, reminder settings, subscribe prompts and media player announcements.

The dome is close to symmetrical, the rim runs slightly wider than the body, and the clapper is centered for balance. Pair it with envelope, gear and message icons in the same toolbar. Add a dot or number badge at the upper right when an unread count is needed.

This is the solid black filled version of the notification icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
