About the Notes black outline icon
Two sheets of paper sit one behind the other inside a circular frame, the front page squared up with rounded corners and filled by six evenly spaced ruled lines, the back page tilted so its corner shows. It stands for written notes and documents, fitting note taking apps, document managers, blog article cards, meeting minutes slides and help center pages.
The offset second sheet adds depth and signals more than one item, while the ruled lines stop short of the edges to keep a clean margin. Pair it with pencil, folder and checklist icons; at 16 px reduce the lines to three so they do not merge.
This is the black outline version of the notes icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
