The familiar arrow cursor is drawn in outline only: a long slanted point at the top left, a stepped notch at the base and a squared tail leg. It stands for clicking, selecting and pointing. Use it in UI tutorials and onboarding hints, click-through rate reports, design tool option bars, landing pages about usability, and screenshots that call out an action.

The shape leans about 45 degrees with a hollow interior, so it stays visible over dark and light backgrounds when paired with a fill variant. It sits naturally next to hand pointer, click and text caret icons. Keep it above 16 px so the notch at the tail does not close up.
