About the Measuring Tape black filled icon
A coiled tape measure sits on the left, drawn as an ellipse with a small center hub, while its strip unrolls to the right with eight evenly spaced graduation ticks and a rectangular metal end clip. The icon stands for measurement, fitting, sizing and precision. Use it in sewing and tailoring apps, size-guide pages, fitness tracking tools, interior design software and hardware store catalogs.
The roll is shown at a slight angle so its depth reads as a rim, and the tick marks alternate in a steady rhythm along the lower edge of the strip. It works next to scissors, ruler, pencil and pin cushion icons. The wide horizontal format suits toolbar rows better than square grids.
This is the solid black filled version of the measuring tape icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
