About the Louse black outline icon
A louse seen from above: an oval abdomen crossed by five horizontal segment bands, a small five-sided head with two raised antennae, and six legs bent outward in pairs along the body. It signals parasites, infestation and hygiene problems. Use it on pest control service sites, lice treatment and pharmacy product pages, school health notices, veterinary care apps and biology teaching material.
The build is strictly symmetrical about a vertical axis, with the segment lines giving the body a ribbed texture and clear insect identity. The legs extend well past the abdomen, so allow padding around the artwork. It sits with tick, flea, bedbug and mosquito icons; at very small sizes the stripes fill in, so switch to the solid style.
This is the black outline version of the louse icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
