About the Loupe black outline icon
A round lens drawn as two concentric circles sits at the top left, and a long straight handle runs down to the lower right, ending in a rounded cap. It carries the ideas of search, zoom, inspection and discovery, so it works as a search field button, a browser toolbar control, a zoom tool in editors, a research slide graphic, or an empty-state illustration.
The double rim gives the lens visible thickness, and the handle is as long as the lens is wide, which keeps the diagonal balanced in a square frame. Pair it with filter, sort and settings icons in a toolbar; align the lens, not the bounding box, with neighboring glyphs.
