About the Location Pin black filled icon
A classic teardrop marker drawn in a single thin stroke, with a rounded dome that tapers to a sharp point at the bottom and an open circle cut through the upper half. It communicates a place, an address or a saved spot on a map. Use it in map interfaces, store locators, ride hailing and delivery tracking apps, event invitations and contact or address form fields.
The dome takes roughly two thirds of the height and the tip narrows to a fine point, so the marker aligns cleanly on a map coordinate. The uniform stroke weight matches compass, route and flag markers in the library. At small sizes the inner ring can fill in, so use 20 px or above, or swap to the filled style.
This is the solid black filled version of the location pin icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
