About the Kandeel Hanging Lantern black filled icon
A circular badge frames a hanging festival lantern: a small pointed cap, a banded top rim, a six-sided body crossed by diagonal panel lines and three wavy tassels streaming from the lower rim. Known as a kandeel, it is hung at doorways during Diwali. Use it on festival greeting cards, seasonal sale banners, event invitations, Indian restaurant menus and cultural calendar apps.
The lantern is drawn symmetrically on the vertical axis, with the crossed panels forming an X that suggests translucent paper faces, and the three tassels adding downward movement. It complements diya, rangoli and firecracker icons in the same festival set. The tassel strokes are fine, so render at 40 px or larger.
This is the solid black filled version of the kandeel hanging lantern icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
