Ink Pen black outline icon
Outline fountain pen nib with slit and breather hole inside a circular frame
About the Ink Pen black outline icon
The drawing shows a fountain pen nib seen at an angle, with its grip section, tapering shoulders, a central slit and a round breather hole, all enclosed in a thin circular frame that reads as a badge or app tile. It stands for handwriting, authorship and signing. Use it for e-signature buttons, editorial and blogging apps, stationery shops, vector pen tool menus and calligraphy course pages.
Composition is diagonal: the nib runs corner to corner inside the circle, so negative space stays balanced and the silhouette survives scaling. Its stroke weight matches the ring, keeping it consistent with badge-framed brush, pencil and notebook icons. Below 24 px, drop the circle and keep the nib alone.
This is the black outline version of the ink pen icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
