About the Indian Rupee Sign black outline icon
The official rupee sign is drawn in a light single stroke: a top bar, a second bar beneath it, a curved bowl on the left and a long diagonal leg sweeping to the lower right. It stands for Indian currency, price and payment without any coin or note around it. Use it in pricing tables, invoices, checkout screens, banking apps and finance reports.
The letterform is tall rather than wide, so it aligns with typed figures when set beside an amount. Thin, even strokes let it sit alongside dollar, euro and pound icons in the currency set without looking heavier. At small sizes the two bars can merge, so keep it at 24 px or above.
This is the black outline version of the indian rupee sign icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
