About the Indian Rupee black filled icon

The rupee sign is drawn as a hollow letterform: two full-width horizontal bars across the top, a rounded bowl on the left and a long diagonal stroke sweeping down to a flat cut at the bottom right. It stands for Indian currency, prices in INR, payments and national financial data. Use it in checkout and payment method lists, banking and UPI apps, invoice templates, price tables on Indian e-commerce sites and market report slides.

The tail is unusually long and slightly angled, giving the glyph a taller footprint than a typical square currency icon, so leave extra vertical padding in button rows. Stroke weight matches the dollar, euro and pound signs in the currency set, letting you swap symbols in the same price field. Align it to the cap height of adjacent numerals.

This is the solid black filled version of the indian rupee icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.

Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
