About the Inbox black filled icon
An open letter tray sits with its lid folded back, and a circled arrow points down into the opening. The combination reads as incoming mail, delivery and messages waiting to be read rather than an outbox. Drop it into email clients, chat sidebars, help-desk dashboards, notification menus and file-transfer screens where received items collect.
The tray is a wide rectangle with angled top flaps, and the arrow circle sits centered in the upper half so it stays legible when scaled down. Pair it with sent, draft and archive icons for a full mail toolbar; a badge counter fits neatly on the top-right corner.
This is the solid black filled version of the inbox icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
