Hiking black outline icon
Outline hiker wearing a backpack, walking forward and holding a tall trekking pole
About the Hiking black outline icon
A simplified figure mid-stride with legs apart, a daypack with a buckled flap on the back, and one arm reaching forward to grip a tall trekking pole planted ahead. It conveys hiking, trekking and outdoor activity, and fits trail and national park maps, outdoor gear stores, travel and adventure apps, fitness tracking, and camping tour brochures.
The head is a separate circle above rounded shoulders, and the pole runs the full height of the icon, setting the walking rhythm and giving the shape a strong vertical anchor. It belongs with tent, mountain and compass icons; the pack strap detail disappears below 32 px.
This is the black outline version of the hiking icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
