Hello black outline icon
Outline of an open hand waving, with three curved motion lines beside it
About the Hello black outline icon
An open palm with four fingers spread and the thumb angled out is tilted as if mid-wave, and three nested curved lines to the left show the hand moving back and forth. It reads instantly as hello, welcome or goodbye, which makes it useful for onboarding screens, sign-up welcome emails, chat and video call greetings, community pages and contact sections.
The fingers are drawn as rounded capsules of even width, and the motion arcs shrink toward the palm to imply speed. It pairs with thumbs up, handshake and clapping hand icons from the gesture set. Mirror it horizontally when you need the wave facing the opposite side of a layout.
This is the black outline version of the hello icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
