Heartbreak black filled icon
Heart broken in two by a jagged lightning-shaped crack, drawn inside a circle
About the Heartbreak black filled icon
A heart sits inside a thin circular frame, split down the middle by a jagged zigzag crack that runs like a lightning bolt from the notch at the top to the point at the bottom. Three short burst lines above the break add the moment of impact. It communicates breakup, loss, grief and heart trouble for dating apps, relationship blogs, song artwork, valentine campaigns and health content.
The two halves tilt slightly apart so the gap between them is visible, and the heart is drawn with rounded lobes that keep the shape friendly despite the subject. Pair it with whole heart, hearts and love letter icons, and the circle frame makes it usable as a reaction button.
This is the solid black filled version of the heartbreak icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
