Heartbeat Pulse black filled icon

About the Heartbeat Pulse black filled icon

A heart drawn with an open contour is cut across its middle by a cardiogram trace that runs flat, dips, then spikes into a tall peak before settling back and rejoining the heart's lower edge. It stands for heart rate, vital signs and active health monitoring, suited to cardiology clinic sites, fitness and running apps, wearable dashboards, hospital triage screens and first aid material.

The pulse line interrupts the heart outline instead of overlapping it, so the two shapes read as one continuous stroke and the peak stays the focal point. Pair it with stethoscope, blood pressure and activity icons. Keep it at 24 px or larger so the spike does not flatten out.

This is the solid black filled version of the heartbeat pulse icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
