Grub black filled icon
Curled C-shaped grub larva with banded body segments and three small legs
About the Grub black filled icon
A soft-bodied grub curled into a C shape, its plump body divided into about eight rounded bands that taper from a broad head end to a coiled tail. Three short legs hook down from the underside near the front. It reads as a beetle larva and stands for pests, soil life, decomposition and garden damage. Fits pest control service pages, lawn care apps, gardening guides, entomology teaching material and fishing bait listings.
The curled posture keeps the long body compact inside a square frame, and the regular segment lines give the form a clear rhythm that survives scaling. It pairs with caterpillar, beetle, worm and leaf damage icons. At 16 px, the tiny legs disappear first, so test the silhouette without them before shipping.
This is the solid black filled version of the grub icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
