About the Globe black filled icon

A grid globe with no landmasses: a perfect circle crossed by two straight horizontal latitude lines and curved meridian arcs that bow out from a central vertical axis, giving the flat circle a spherical read. It stands for worldwide reach, internet and location rather than a specific continent. Common in language and region switchers, website headers, shipping and travel booking flows, network status pages, and corporate 'global presence' slides.

Construction is strictly symmetric left to right and top to bottom, with the outer circle carrying the same stroke weight as the interior grid so nothing dominates. The open interior keeps it crisp when reduced. It pairs naturally with map pin, plane, translate and network icons. Because the grid is fine, bump the stroke weight or use a simpler variant below 24px.

This is the solid black filled version of the globe icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.

Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
