About the Forbidden Knife color filled icon

A solid chef-style knife with a pointed blade and short handle sits at an angle inside a thin circle, struck through by a diagonal bar that crosses the blade. The pairing communicates a banned item, a weapons restriction or a safety rule rather than the tool itself. Fits airport and venue security screens, shipping restriction lists, event rules pages, kitchen safety posters, and moderation or content-policy interfaces.

The knife is drawn filled so it stays readable against the open circle, while the slash runs corner to corner at the same stroke weight as the ring. It sits naturally beside other prohibition marks such as no smoking or no liquids. Use at 32px or above where the thin ring and bar must stay crisp.

This is the colour filled version of the forbidden knife icon: a flat, solid-colour shape that stands out in dashboards, marketing pages and app tiles where the icon needs to carry colour meaning.

It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
