About the Folder black filled icon
An open folder shows its tabbed rear panel behind a front flap that tilts forward as a slanted parallelogram, leaving the interior empty and ready to hold documents. It reads as file storage, directories, archives and organized records. Fits file manager apps, cloud storage dashboards, project and document management tools, office intranet pages and desktop or website navigation menus.
The open form uses only two panels, so the shape stays wide and flat with a strong horizontal footprint, and the raised tab on the upper left makes it identifiable even at a glance. It pairs with closed folder, document and cloud upload icons; keep the stroke heavy so the thin flap edge does not vanish under 20 px.
This is the solid black filled version of the folder icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
