About the Floppy Disk Save black filled icon
A square diskette with one clipped corner shows four narrow slots along the top edge for the metal shutter and a large blank label panel filling the lower half. Long the standard save symbol, it still reads as storing and backing up work. Use it for save buttons, export dialogs, version history, backup settings and retro tech graphics.
The body is nearly square, the shutter slots repeat at even spacing, and the label rectangle anchors the base with plenty of empty space. It works next to folder, download and cloud icons in a toolbar; a 24 px grid keeps the top slots readable.
This is the solid black filled version of the floppy disk save icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
