About the Flag black outline icon
This icon shows a plain rectangular banner attached near the top of a tall, slender pole with rounded ends. The cloth curves gently along its top and bottom edges to suggest it is caught in the wind, and the field is left empty of any emblem. It stands for a marker, milestone or nation. Use it for map pins, goal and progress steps, report buttons, sports scoreboards and country selectors.
The pole runs nearly the full height of the frame, which gives the icon a strong vertical anchor and leaves the flag reading clearly against it. It pairs with location pin, trophy and bookmark icons. At small sizes, flatten the wave slightly so the banner does not look bent.
