About the Flag black outline icon
A single banner ripples from the top of a long straight pole, its free edge cut into a notched swallowtail that curls back on itself, giving the cloth a windblown feel. It communicates a goal reached, a claimed territory, a checkpoint or a country. Use it for milestone markers in roadmaps, level-complete screens in games, map annotations, report-a-problem buttons and onboarding progress steps.
The composition is strongly vertical: the pole runs the full height while the banner occupies only the upper third, leaving open space that keeps the shape readable in dense toolbars. It sits well beside goal, pin and trophy icons. Align the pole base to the baseline of neighboring icons so the flag does not appear to float.
This is the black outline version of the flag icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
