An open pair of scissors cuts across a diagonal strip of film with sprocket holes along both edges, the blades closing right on a frame line, all set inside a thin circle. It stands for cutting, trimming and post-production work, and fits video editor toolbars, film festival sites, channel graphics, media course slides and studio price lists.

The film strip runs corner to corner while the scissors sit at a mirrored angle, so the two shapes cross at the center of the ring and stay readable. Group it with clapperboard, film reel and play button icons, and drop the circle if you need it below 20 px.
