Two large circles sit side by side joined by a straight bond, and each one sends two short bonds out to smaller circles above and below, giving the familiar C2H4 skeleton of ethylene. It works for chemistry course material, petrochemical and plastics industry sites, lab software, science infographics and polymer product documentation.

The layout is symmetrical around the central bond, with atom size marking carbon against hydrogen and equal spacing on all four outer arms. Pair it with methane, benzene and atom icons; the small circles thicken well, so it survives at 24 px.
