About the Escalator black outline icon
A diagonal escalator runs from a lower landing to an upper one, with a parallel handrail and a simplified standing passenger halfway up; a long arrow alongside points in the travel direction. It communicates vertical circulation, accessibility routes and moving between floors. Useful for mall and airport wayfinding, station maps, building directories, facility management dashboards and architecture presentations.
Two long parallel diagonals form the step run and handrail, with flat platforms squared off at each end and the figure reduced to a circle head and rounded body. Pair it with elevator, stairs and exit icons in signage sets, and keep the arrow at 32 px or larger so it stays distinct from the handrail.
This is the black outline version of the escalator icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
