Ear black outline icon
Line drawing of a human outer ear with a spiral inner canal, side view
About the Ear black outline icon
A side view of a human outer ear, drawn as one unbroken contour that traces the helix, folds inward through the antihelix and curls into a spiral at the ear canal. There is no head or face around it, so the shape reads purely as hearing. Use it for audiology clinics, hearing aid product pages, accessibility toggles for captions or audio, podcast and listening apps, and ENT medical charts.
The composition is tall and narrow with an even stroke weight and generous negative space inside the spiral, which keeps the form legible when scaled down. It pairs naturally with eye, nose and mouth icons for a five-senses set, or with sound wave and deaf symbols. Below 24 px, place it on a plain background so the inner curl does not fill in.
This is the black outline version of the ear icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
