Dvd black filled icon
Round DVD disc with a ringed center hole and a curved shine arc
About the Dvd black filled icon
A large circle holds a small hub drawn as a dot inside two concentric rings, and a single curved arc in the upper right suggests light glancing off the surface. The mark stands for optical media, ripping and burning, and stored video or audio. Use it for media player controls, disc burning utilities, film catalog listings, music album placeholders and software installer pages.
Proportions follow a real disc, with the hub kept small so the wide reading surface dominates and the shine arc sitting clear of it. It sits well next to headphone, film reel, USB drive and folder icons in the same media set. At 16 px the arc can be removed to keep the shape clean.
This is the solid black filled version of the dvd icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
