A retractable utility knife with an extended triangular blade and a slider groove along its body lies diagonally inside a circle crossed by a bold slash. The combination states clearly that blades must not be used here, which makes it right for packaging and carton warnings, shipping and handling labels, unboxing instructions, warehouse safety posters and equipment manuals.

The knife runs corner to corner so the prohibition bar cuts across its midpoint, keeping both the tool and the ban stroke recognizable at once; the circle is unbroken and evenly weighted.
