About the Cursor Text black outline icon
A slim vertical I-beam caret with short horizontal caps flaring from the top and bottom of the stem, the pointer shape that appears over editable text. It communicates typing, text selection and an active insertion point. Drop it into text editor toolbars, form field states, design tool cursor pickers, CMS interfaces, help articles about keyboard input and onboarding tooltips that explain where to click.
The stroke is thin and the figure is markedly taller than it is wide, giving it a typographic serif-like feel rather than a blocky bar. It pairs with mouse pointer, hand cursor, crosshair and select-tool icons in the same set. Because the shape is so narrow, give it padding on both sides inside square buttons.
This is the black outline version of the cursor text icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
Download it free as a scalable SVG vector or transparent-background PNG in seven sizes (16 to 512px), copy the SVG code straight into your project, or open it in the free online editor to change colors, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, animate it, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
