A thin, evenly weighted circle encloses a heavy open letter C with a wide gap at its right side, forming the standard copyright mark. It signals ownership of a work, licensing terms and protected intellectual property at a glance. Use it in website footers, terms and license pages, stock media galleries, publishing and print credit lines, and legal or compliance presentation slides.
The outer ring is drawn much lighter than the letterform, so the C reads first and the circle acts as a frame rather than competing with it.
