About the Conversation black outline icon

Two rounded square speech bubbles overlap on a diagonal: the front bubble at the upper left carries three evenly spaced dots and a tail pointing down and left, while the second bubble behind it at the lower right sits empty with its tail pointing down and right. The opposing tails show two people talking in turn, making it right for messaging apps, comment threads, live chat widgets, forum sections and FAQ headers.

The pair is set at a slight offset so both outlines stay visible without a knockout, and the three dots give the front bubble a typing indicator feel. It works alongside single bubble, headset and question mark icons from the same support set. At 16px the dots close up, so prefer 24px or larger.

This is the black outline version of the conversation icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
