About the Compare black filled icon
Two sheets with folded top corners stand side by side, split by a narrow vertical gutter. The left page holds an arrow pointing right, the right page an arrow pointing left, so the pair reads as weighing one option against another. Use it for comparison tables, document diff tools, plan pickers, A/B test reports and product versus product pages.
Both pages share identical proportions, which is what makes the contrast legible: only the arrow direction changes. The dividing line acts as a visual pivot. It pairs with copy, merge and swap marks in the same document family; keep the gutter visible and avoid scaling below 24px.
This is the solid black filled version of the compare icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
