About the Coiled Intestine black filled icon

A single hollow tube folds back on itself in four wide switchbacks, tapering to a short straight opening at the top and bottom to suggest where the tract enters and exits. The serpentine loop is the standard shorthand for the bowel, so it fits anatomy diagrams, gastroenterology clinic sites, probiotic and supplement packaging, digestive health apps and biology teaching slides.

The double-line stroke keeps the tube reading as an open channel rather than a solid ribbon, and the loops share one radius so the coil looks evenly wound. Pair it with stomach, liver and kidney icons in an organ set, and avoid sizes under 32 px where the inner channel closes up.

This is the solid black filled version of the coiled intestine icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.

It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
