About the Code color filled icon
A circular badge frames a pair of angle brackets split by a forward slash, the universal shorthand for a block of markup or source code. It reads instantly as programming, scripting and software builds. Use it for developer portfolios, documentation menus, API sections on a SaaS site, code-editor toolbars, embed buttons, and course cards for coding bootcamps.
The brackets sit at equal angles either side of a steeply tilted slash, keeping the mark balanced inside a thin even-weight ring. It sits well beside terminal, bug and repository icons in the same set. Keep the ring stroke at 1.5px or above so it survives at 24px.
This is the colour filled version of the code icon: a flat, solid-colour shape that stands out in dashboards, marketing pages and app tiles where the icon needs to carry colour meaning.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
