About the Checkmark black filled icon
A check mark sits inside a circle that is left open at the top right, where the tick's long tail sweeps out past the ring. The break makes the gesture feel drawn by hand rather than stamped, softening what is otherwise a strict status mark. Use it for completed task lists, form validation, order confirmation screens, onboarding checklists and feature comparison tables.
The short arm of the tick is about a third the length of the long one, and both strokes keep the same weight as the ring. Pair it with cross, clock and warning icons for full status coverage. It stays legible down to 16 px.
This is the solid black filled version of the checkmark icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
