About the Chat Bubble black filled icon

This chat bubble design shows two rounded oval speech balloons that overlap, each with a small pointed tail curling away from the body, so the pair reads as a back-and-forth exchange rather than a single statement. The two-balloon arrangement signals dialogue, replies and shared discussion. Use it for messaging apps, comment sections on blogs and shops, live chat launchers, customer support pages and community forum navigation.

Both ovals are wide ellipses drawn in even outline strokes, the front one slightly larger and sitting above-left of the partner behind it, with the tails flicking outward in opposite directions for balance. It pairs naturally with envelope, phone and headset icons in a contact set. Keep the stroke weight consistent at small sizes so the overlap stays readable at 16px.

This is the solid black filled version of the chat bubble icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
