About the Cancel black outline icon
Two thick rounded bars cross to form an X, centered inside a thin open circle that leaves clear space around the mark. It reads as cancel, dismiss, reject, delete or access denied, depending on context. Drop it on a modal close button, a failed payment or error state, a form field clear control, a rejected item in an approval queue, or a feature comparison table marking what a plan does not include.
The X strokes are noticeably heavier than the surrounding ring, so the cross stays the focal point and remains legible when scaled down. The generous gap between mark and circle keeps it from muddying at small sizes. Pair it with the matching check circle and warning icons for status sets; at 16px use the filled variant for stronger contrast.
This is the black outline version of the cancel icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
