A vernier caliper drawn on a diagonal, with fixed and sliding jaws clamped at the top, a thumb roll between them and a long measuring beam ruled with graduation marks along its edge. It stands for precise measurement, tolerance and quality control, suiting machine shop sites, CAD and engineering tools, metalworking catalogs, technical drawing menus and manufacturing reports.

The angled placement lets the graduated beam run corner to corner, so the ruler ticks stay readable and the jaw detail stays open. It sits well beside ruler, micrometer and wrench icons; below 32 px switch to the filled style so the tick marks do not merge.
