About the Bug black filled icon
A beetle is shown from directly above: an oval body divided by a center line into two wing cases, a small rounded head with two curling antennae, and six bent legs, one straight pair at the sides and angled pairs front and back. It covers both meanings designers need, from software defects and malware warnings to insects themselves, so it fits issue trackers, bug report buttons, antivirus dashboards, pest control services and nature or biology material.
Strict left-right symmetry and the clear body-to-leg contrast keep the silhouette readable even when the thin legs thin out at small sizes.
