About the Bug black outline icon
A beetle seen from above shows a rounded shell body, a small domed head, two curved antennae and three pairs of legs spread symmetrically to the sides. It carries both meanings designers need: a real insect and a software defect. Use it for issue trackers, debug tools, antivirus warnings, pest control sites and biology or nature content.
The shell is a single capsule shape divided from the thorax by one straight line, which keeps the form clean at any size. The legs extend past the body for a recognizable silhouette. Pair it with shield, warning and code icons in a developer set; it also works as a status badge.
This is the black outline version of the bug icon: even, monoline strokes that stay crisp at small sizes and suit clean, minimal interfaces, wireframes and light backgrounds.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
