A shield outline is split from top to bottom by a jagged, lightning-shaped break, leaving two halves pulled slightly apart inside a thin circle. It communicates compromised protection, a failed defense or an active threat. Use it for security breach alerts, antivirus warnings, vulnerability dashboards, insurance claim flows and error states in access control screens.

The crack widens toward the center, so the damage stays visible even when the badge is scaled down. Pair it with an intact shield, padlock and warning triangle to show before-and-after states. In color styles, a red accent pushes it clearly into alert territory.
