About the Book black outline icon
The book lies open and faces the viewer: two page blocks fan upward from a straight central spine, each with a gently curved outer edge that suggests a thick paper stack, while the cover extends flat and slightly wider on both sides. It stands for reading, study, documentation, storytelling and knowledge, working well in e-learning navigation, help center headers, library catalogs, publisher sites and course landing pages.
Composition is mirror-symmetric around the spine, and the curved page edges give the flat outline a sense of volume without shading. The lower cover strip anchors the shape to the baseline so it aligns with graduation cap, bookmark, notebook and pencil icons. Around 20 px the two page curves begin to merge, so switch to the filled version there.
