Ban Sign black filled icon
Prohibition ban sign: a circle crossed by a diagonal slash
About the Ban Sign black filled icon
An inner circle is cut by a single diagonal bar running from the upper left to the lower right, and a second thin ring surrounds it to form a badge. It is the universal mark for no entry, blocked, forbidden or unavailable. Use it for disabled buttons and error states, content moderation and blocked user screens, safety signage, restricted parking notices and permission settings.
The slash is drawn as a filled bar rather than a hairline, so the prohibition reads clearly even when the icon is tiny, and the outer ring gives it a stamped-sign feel. It overlays neatly on other icons in the library to build custom 'not allowed' variants. Works down to 16 px in toolbars.
This is the solid black filled version of the ban sign icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
