About the Algorithm black filled icon
A single circle sits at the top and connects by a short stem to a horizontal bar, which splits into three vertical lines feeding three equal square nodes below. The shape communicates branching logic, decision trees, hierarchy and data flow. Use it in developer docs, algorithm and machine learning pages, sitemap and information architecture tools, org chart builders, and network or workflow diagrams.
The layout is strictly symmetrical, with the circle centered above the middle square and the outer branches mirrored at equal spacing. Round and square nodes contrast enough to read as parent and children. It pairs with sitemap, network and database icons, and holds its shape well down to 24 px.
This is the solid black filled version of the algorithm icon: a bold silhouette that reads clearly at 16-24 px and on dark or busy backgrounds, and prints well in one colour.
It downloads free as an SVG vector or transparent PNG in seven sizes, and the free online editor lets you recolor it, apply gold, silver, neon and gradient styles, add animation, or convert it to EPS, PDF and DXF.
