A round medal hangs from a V-shaped neck ribbon, joined by a small rectangular clasp, and a clean five-point star is cut into the centre of the disc. The star plus ribbon combination reads immediately as achievement, ranking and recognition, making it useful for award and certificate pages, gamification badges, leaderboards, employee recognition dashboards, sports result screens and course completion screens.

The ribbon straps are wide flat bands that mirror each other, so the composition is symmetrical around a vertical axis, and the star sits well inside the disc with clear breathing room. It pairs with trophy, ribbon rosette and cup icons in the same family. At 20 px the star tips can blunt, so prefer 28 px or larger.
